In 2013 I will be raising funds for The Parachute Regiment Charity, check my updates to see what I'm doing and how I'm progressing.

The Parachute Regiment Charity was established to support soldiers of The Parachute Regiment and their families, as well as Airborne Forces members who need help.

These are the some of the ways they have helped soldiers and their families: 
  
Bespoke wheelchairs for wounded soldiers
 
Equipment to enable an amputee to enter Paralympic cycling
 
Travel and accommodation costs for soldiers attending commemorations such as Arnhem and Normandy
 
Helping towards special mobility vehicle for a soldier’s disabled child
 
Travel and hotel costs to enable families of those killed to attend
memorial occasions
 
Help to provide special holidays for a disabled child
 
Help for soldier to return home overseas for a family funeral
 
Soldiers’ adventure training and kit for sports teams
 
Family days aimed at providing support and communication during deployment
 
Transport costs for overseas relatives of wounded soldiers
 
Help with family funeral costs
 
Providing needed furniture for young children in new housing
