Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the Westerham Wanderers Ten Tors Team 2009 and thanks for your support.

We completed the course in 11 hours 50 minutes and were the 7th fastest team of 22. If we hit our fund raising target of £4k we will have generated the second largest amount of sponsorship and the whole event will have raised £44k which will then be matched by the company meaning of course that there is some £88k available for charity!

Whats more, we all cover our costs individually so every pound raised goes to good causes.

It was as tough as ever being very wet and boggy in places though we were lucky that the weather was kind being dry and sunny.

The Foundation supports many small as well as larger charities and last year raised and distributed over £1.5m. The charities it supports most tend to be those working with children and young people with special needs and the hospice movement.
