It's true, I am attempting to run 7 Marathons with a wonderful team of fellow crazy runners and Challengers, Darren Abbotts, Gareth Starr and Rachel Smith, sadly we lost Leighton Smith through injury during the 9 months of work outs and long distance running.
On 26th May 2014 we run a 26.2 Marathon from Weston-super-Mare to Bristol in aid of the Weston RNLI Sponsored by The Grand Pier Weston. The marathons will continue through the week making it 7 consecutive marathons.
The RNLI in Weston-super-Mare have recently lost their station on the Knightstone Island and have had to move to the mainland Weston beach coastline.
Every pound counts to such a wonderful charity and to such brave and courageous people who dedicate time and put their lives at risk for so many, please donate generously.

Training has gone reasonably well, the Winter nights were the hardest but now Spring is here it's much better. The Team of Gareth Starr, Darren Abbotts and our only female runner Rachel Smith have amazed me with their commitment and dedication to this cause, arduous hours of running and workouts every week for the past 9 months. We can see the start line approaching and with over 188 miles to run it's going to be one of the toughest and most physical things we will ever do in our lives. 7 Days to run 7 Marathons, and raise as much money for these 7 Amazing Charities. Please support us throughout the week starting on 26th May 2014 and to the finish line on 1st June 2014.
