For the third year, a team of 4 of us are contesting a finishing place in the HeartBeat Challenge. Whilst it is undoubtedly a fun event, it's actually all about teambuilding and creating a fund for great causes. Last year, the 62 teams who competed raised over £170,000 for Wessex Heartbeat and other nominated charities. Our secondary charity, ,who receive 50% of our collection, is TOFS. This Charity (for the numpties like us who dont understand medicals terms) is for Babies who are born without the ability to swallow. These are two fantastic good causes who will both really appreciate your help.
The CHALLENGE is for us to ride, in a team relay, for 200 miles per day for 3 days, ending up in Beaune in Burgundy. The real challenge is cycling that distance in daylight hours as the days are shortening!
Not only will your money go to a great cause, but we promise we wont bore you with stories of duress and bravado as we wont need to bother you to collect the funds if you use this website. We WILL bring our TOP Sponsor a bottle of Burgundy wine fron Beaune where we finish our challenge.
