When my nephew was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder Xeroderma Pigmentosum in 2012 aged just 13 months our family found itself stunned and shaken. Three years on, and whilst the ground may have stopped shaking  my sister in law and wife wont let the dust settle as they work tirelessly to promote XP and improve the lives of those affected.

I am taking part in this challenge to raise awareness of the daily challenge faced by patients with XP and to bring in the all important funds to deliver the key projects run by Teddington Trust.

On the 11th June our Team Ted will attempt to complete gruelling 54 miles along the beautiful West Highland Way in Scotland in a mere 24 hours non stop.

As a small charity all funds are spent directly on projects so a little goes a long way.
