Market Drayton Community Amateur Sports Club will be hosting the best sporting charity event in Market Drayton this year.

The event is the brainchild of and is being organised in conjunction with the Will Associates who will be leading and supporting the event and is to allow the Help for Heroes team to warm up for their big day in London later in the week. 

On Thursday 17th September, newly appointed Director of England Cricket, Andrew Strauss, will lead a Help for Heroes XI at the Oval against a Rest of the World XI in an international Help for Heroes fundraiser, Cricket for Heroes.

It will be a great day out for all ages, as there will be refreshments, music in the form of 'Blue Side Out' and more to be confirmed. There will also be 'Help for Heroes' merchandise available. Also there will be a Raffle, a Pimms tent, Beer tent, a Bouncy Castle, Football Shoot out and Face Painting. Great fun for the children.

The event is being supported by AR Richards and Hinstock Marquees.
