Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running as far as I can around Rutland Water (15 miles) and walking what I can't run to raise money for The Mango Tree which is helping over 13,371 orphans in Tanzania and Kenya get a decent education from primary school, right the way through to university, in some cases. Furthermore, they help the orphans with vocational training and micro-finance so that they can get started in life. 

I travelled through some desperately poor parts of Kenya and Tanzania in 1992 with my brother on our way to Cape Town. The people were always were kind and generous so I want to help The Mango Tree as much as I can now. 

Now, 20 years ago 15 miles did not seem too bad to me. But, 15 miles is a long way now. Ten of us from MMT Digital are planning to run and walk around Rutland Water on 27th September. Some of the team are planning to run it in a relay while a large percentage of us are doing the whole thing (including me!)

I want to raise £100. We have a target of £1,000. We have already got over £400 committed in pledges. If you can sponsor me, I will be very grateful indeed. Please also see our Facebook page where you can leave messages of encouragement (or bewilderment!).
