Malle to Hartley Wintney 2013 · 22 August 2013

St John's Church is the parish church in the Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney. In April 2012, the church commenced the building of a new £2.3m Church Centre, which, when completed in June 2013, will provide new facilities for our church and wider community. Please help us to raise the final 20%.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing a charity bike ride from Malle in Belglum back to Hartley Wintney 300 miles in 4 days.

80% of the funds raised will go towards the new St John’s Church Centre building. However, from the total amount, 20% will be donated to two very special local charities, namely St Michael’s Hospice, Basingstoke, which cares for terminally ill patients across North Hampshire, and The Matthew Elvidge Trust, committed to raising awareness of depression in young adults, working with charities and universities across UK.

for those that know me will know that I lost my Dad to cancer in early May this year and the care he received in the hospice was second to none. Need I say more as to which of these 3 amazingly  worthwhile charities is my main focus..?

I will be riding to celebrate and remember dad x

cheers for looking
