Myeloma UK London Paris Ride 2016 · 5 May 2016 to 9 May 2016 ·
This charity was only set up 17 years ago and is doing fantastic work to aid research and support patients with this form of cancer.
There are approximately 4,700 people diagnosed with myeloma every year in the UK. It is the second most common form of bone marrow cancer and currently incurable.
Myeloma UK aims to help by accelerating the discovery and development and access to new treatments, while helping patients and their families cope with everything a diagnosis of myeloma brings.
This ride is going to be hard bum breaking work! 6 months of training through the winter, followed by cycling 120km a day over 4 days from Greenwich to Paris. It still won't come close to how difficult it is to receive a diagnosis of Myeloma, either as an individual or as a family member of that individual.
To raise £1500 I will need £5 for every mile that I cycle. Watch this space to track my progress in clocking up the miles to Paris!
Please support me in acheiving my challenge and at the same time help Myeloma UK acheive their aims.
Thank you
Will
