Story

Welcome to Joe and Cog's Odyssey. WAIT? Joe and COG??? Yes, Will has pulled out of the odyssey for his own reasons, but will still be helping out leading up to the walk by doing odd little challenges for donations. Joe and Cog will be walking a now increased distance of 100 miles in 7 days primarily round the Gower Peninsula, will be taking challenges (punishments) for the benefit of the British Heart Foundation in the summer of 2010.

Like many families, both Joe and Will's families have been effected by heart problems, which is why this trek was initially thought of. The British Heart Foundation does great work in this area we all want to do our bit to help this amazing charity. Our goal is to raise £500, but any donations are highly appreciated.

The Gower Peninsula, in south Wales, was one of the first places designated 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' in the UK, and having visited it last year, Joe thought it a good little idea to return. The walk will be completed with nothing but good old fashioned map reading.

Will's challenges will be done live on blogtv, and then posted to his YouTube. The challenges are really punishments for him not being able to take part in the walk for many reasons outlined in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Bc7wiFLO-I

Thank you very much for reading this, and for any donation you choose to submit. If you don't want to pay over the internet, we can accept sponsorship in cash, which will be added to our total. Video updates on the progress of our planning of the walk will be infrequently available from www.youtube.com/WillsOdyssey and on Facebook, to let you know how the preparations are going, and what challenges have been put to us.

See you around!

Joe Bezer, James Coghill and Will Dixon
