DLA Piper Global Challenge · 2 October 2015 to 10 October 2015 ·

UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories to help children survive and thrive, from early childhood through adolescence. The world’s largest provider of vaccines for developing countries, UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, good water & sanitation, and basic education for all.

Story

In October 2015, I will join over 40 other DLA Piper personnel on a 6-day trek across the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia.

The reason: to raise funds and awareness for UNICEF's child rights work in Bangladesh. DLA Piper supports UNICEF's child justice programmes through fundraising and pro bono work.

The physical challenge: to summit Mount Bwahit, which peaks at 4,450m.

The fundraising challenge: $6,000 AUD (approx 3,000 GBP).

The NEXT LEVEL fundraising challenge: $10,000 AUD

I need your help to reach the NEXT LEVEL fundraising challenge (and then conquer the physical challenge), so please donate what you can!

Our vision is for the rights of children to be recognised and respected all over the world, and particularly those children who come into contact with the law in Bangladesh, whether as victims, witnesses or juvenile offenders.
