Hello everyone,

My competitive younger brother has steam rollered me into doing the grueling 2009 Cat & Fiddle 55-mile Cycle Challenge in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust. It takes in the infamous 'Cat & Fiddle 7 mile hill' as used in the National Hill Climbing Championships (OMG)!  I thought we were going to have a relaxing weekend with a couple of short rides interspersed with a beer or 2, but no here we are putting mind & body to the test. What makes it harder is that 10 days later I undergo bilateral arthroscopies on my already knackered knees!

This is very much last minute.com so no pressure, but if you feel like giving just give what you can. It is for a very worthy cause, and it will make the (my) pain easier.
