In a spur of the moment act - or act of madness - I signed up for the Edinburgh Men's 10k. I've never run that far before, nor run in a charity event so this is a first. 

I'm Running for Prostate UK - I'm already a sponsor - because funding can help purchase new equipment that can detect the disease without the need for a "probe".  

Men are not the best to seek doctor's advice and are even less likely when it comes to "embarrassing" situations such as the current test. So If my running can help another man avoid that and potentially save a life then I'm happy to do so.
