We are going on a 3 week sabbatical to Gahini Hospital in Rwanda in February 2012. We felt challenged to help after visiting our elder son in Rwanda and also after our younger spent a medical elective at this hospital.
The hospital is funded by the Church Mission Society and the money you donate is clearly ringfenced for Gahini and hospital equipment there.

We are raising funds for a desperately needed oxygen generator that could power their ventilators and anaesthetic machine. The electricity supply to Gahini is intermittent
We cycled from Glasgow to Edinburgh on 11th September 2011 in the Pedal for Scotland event. It was great fun despite the wind and rain - but the Tour de France is not on the agenda yet !

we had a fundraising ceilidh on Sat 19th November and many thanks to all those who attended and made it such a fun event. Thanks too for all the kind donations given at this event
