Thankyou for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 2nd of July 2011 our first son, William, came into our lives. Beautiful, brave and eternally loved, he fought the twin battle of being born prematurely and also having a condition which meant that the growth of his lungs was restricted both in-utero and also post-birth. Although he battled for 10 days, we lost William on the morning of the 12th of July. William was only with us for a short time, however we feel blessed that we had someone so special in our lives and we would like something positive to come from his short time with us.
We couldn't have asked any more from the staff who looked after William in the Peter Congdon Neo-Natal Unit at Leeds General Infirmary; they were all amazing. Therefore, we would like to raise much needed money to help support other babies like William and parents like ourselves.
After the Major Series and a successful charity dinner, April 21st sees the next event in our fundraising calendar - the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. This 24 mile slog through Yorkshire's toughest countryside is being attempted by the following people:
Lee and Stacey Talbot, Martin Worsnop, David McPhee, Ben Murdoch, Maurice Galway, Mike Woodburn, Susie McCabe, Angela Booth & Shelly, Milly Pratt, Jane McPhee, James Leigh, James Noble, Jez Whawell, Gemma Sadler, Lee Bailey-Hague, Dave Mansfield, Neil Walker, Gary Walker, Marcus Johnson, Dean Storey, Elliott Cooper, Tony Latimer, Tom Maloney, Marisol Carrera, Sean Finn and Kevin, Keith Thomas, Jen Miles, Michelle Degville & Richard, Sarah Ritchie.
Many thanks if you are donating on behalf of any of the above.
