Trek to Machu Picchu · 25 October 2010

Willow is the only UK charity supporting seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds by providing unique and positive Special Days. Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 23,500 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and cystic fibrosis.

Story

For those living with a life-threatening illness, every day deserves to be treated as precious.

The Willow Foundation is a national charity that organises and funds special days for 16 to 40 year olds living with serious illness.  Special days provide the opportunity for them to enjoy quality of time and quality of life with their loved ones, away from the hard realities of living with a life-threatening condition.  Special days bring hope, happiness and empowerment at the most difficult time in their lives.

To support the work of the Willow Foundation, I will be trekking along the Inca Trail in Peru, South America, to Machu Picchu leaving on 15 October.  All donations will go towards funding and organising special days for seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you.
