<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>OK, so it's not quite as far away as most of my previous charity bike rides nor as far a distance to actually ride but it's still raising money for a good cause.</p> <p>The actual bike ride:&nbsp;<span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px;">Starting in central London and travelling across some of the city's most beautiful towpaths, the Thames Bridges Bike Ride eventually ends after 33 miles in Hurst Park, near Hampton Court. The route takes you over some of London's most iconic and well known bridges, including Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and Putney Bridge.</span></p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Of all people who suffer from a stroke, about a third are likely to die within the first 10 days, about a third are likely to make a recovery within one month and about a third are likely to be left disabled and needing rehabilitation.</p> <p style="margin-top: 3px;">Stroke has a greater disability impact than any other medical condition.
