When I was 20 I applied for life insurance and they turned me down saying I wasn't going to live that long.

Well I've just about made it to 60!

After my transplant in 1986 Gael and I were closely involved with the St Mary's Hospital Kidney Patients' Association - we ran it for nearly ten years and we know how much they need funds and what wonderful work they do for their patients.

With the consolidation of hospitals the St Mary's KPA has been incorporated into the West London KPA.
