Three Peaks Challenge · 11 June 2014

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

A combined team from Wrexham and Bangor Companies of Wales UOTC are to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge. That is the highest peak in Scotland, Ben Nevis, followed by England, Scaffell Pike, and finally finishing in Wales, with Snowdon. All within 24 hours.

The challenge is being undertaken to raise money for AFB - The Soldiers Charity and Autism Wishes, a charity raising money to educate and raise awareness of Autism, based in Wrexham and working predominately in North Wales.
