My story

Martin was asked to enter this year's X Factor personally by Simon Cowell but unfortunately for Simon he turned him down.  Having watched week after week he thinks maybe he should have entered, after all he would have been a hell of a lot better than those god awful twins!

Instead though, Martin is taking part in a marathon.  This marathon does not involve any running but is a karaoke marathon.  Martin assisted by Michael Malloy and possibly the legendary Jackie Stacey will be singing non stop for 10 hours.  Now even for Martin who likes to hog the mic this is some going.

So Martin would like you to sponsor him on his epic journey.  And Martin pledges that if you donate £25+ he will sing a song of your chosing.  Even if it's by Girls Aloud!  If you donate £40+ he will video it and send it you for your amusement!  Martin assures you that these will be pledges delivered and not pledges that remain aspirations!

Martin will of course start with "You Raise Me Up" which he always dedicates to viagra.  But the rest (if the price is right) is down to you.

Martin also knows where many of you live and for anyone who doesn't donate may be tempted to sing outside your abode in the middle of the night.

The serious bit

All your donations will go to the charity The Food Chain.  Every Sunday volunteers across London cook and deliver healthy and nutritious meals to people who are ill with HIV and Aids.  The aim of the charity is to ensure that people who are ill have access to healthy meals to assist them in fighting the illness.  Martin has been volunteering as a driver for this charity now for some time. For more information please visit their website www.foodchain.org.uk

So please do donate and help me or next year i might just have to enter the X Factor after all!
