Lindsay, Jannicke, Vicky, Caroline, Nikki and Amanda are Team Thames Valley! We comprise of 5 trainee solicitors and 1 newly qualified solicitor who all work in Reading town centre. We are taking part in the Young Lawyers Enterprise Award. This is an event staged by Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, involving teams of lawyers from all over the country. We will be competing against each other to raise money and awareness for an incredibly worthwhile cause.

Over the course of the next few months we will be staging events and other fundraising activities in a bid to raise a whopping £10,000!

Our first event will be sponsored 6 mile walk which will take place in the Chilterns on 26th May 2013. A Charity Bingo Night will be held on 6 June 2013 at Highlight Comedy Club, Reading and a 10k run on 23 June at Dinton Pastures, Winnersh. In addition we will be holding non-uniform days, cake sales and using swear jars in our offices. 

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research have a vision - to beat blood cancer. They are determined to save lives and improve treatments for people with, and affected by, blood cancer. They focus on clinical trials in order to understand the biology of blood cancer, and to improve early detection and diagnosis.  They are the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of all blood cancer patients.

All donations will be incredibly welcome. We will use this page to give updates of our progress and to publicise any activities we are staging, so watch this space!
