Hello and thank you for taking the time to have a look at our JustGiving fundraising page!

We’ve set up this page to let you know about our exciting challenge and to tell you know about MIND and the wonderful work that they do. Hopefully by the end you’ll find it in your heart to spare a couple of quid to a really good cause. 

As with all things like this they start with a story, an individual, a memory or simply admiration for an amazing cause. Our story starts with our brave adrenaline seeking sister Lizzy, who has a huge heart of gold and wanted to help those who suffer with mental health issues. Being the loving sister she is Lizzy has kindly nominated her sisters, Katy and Charlotte, along with our other halves, Dan, James and Will to take part in the challenge with her.

In under two weeks, myself, my sisters are our other halves will be jumping out of a plane at 18,000ft to raise money for a fantastic cause and, with fingers crossed we will still be in one piece when we land. There will only be one person who will walk calmly onto the plane in this team, whilst the rest of us fight our natural instincts! This will be no small undertaking for the majority of us and we need all the help that we can get. 

Many of us know someone in the family, a friend or a colleague who has some form of mental illness; in fact 1 in 4 people will experience a kind of mental health problem every year. MIND is a charity that provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. MIND is also making a huge impact in removing the stigmas associated with mental health issues. To find out more information please visit www.mind.org.uk to see first-hand their brilliant work.

So once again anything that you can spare, pennies or pounds, it would be amazing and might help us all walk onto the plane ourselves!
