On Sunday 1st October 2017, I plan to cycle 45-miles by participating in the Palace to Palace ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle raising money for ‘The Prince's Trust’. This is the second consecutive year I will be taking part in this mammoth event. Since doing the event same time last year I have had very little time on my bike so it's time to dust of the cobwebs and start some serious training with approx. 6 weeks to go. I aim to smash my time 05:54:50 which included stopping for 2 punctures (which weren't even mine) and beat my fundraising amount of £252 last year!  

‘The Prince's Trust’ is a great charity that helps disadvantaged young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training helping them to get that all important foot in the door in becoming a productive member of society. As ‘The Prince’s Trust’ approaches its 40th anniversary it has helped a colossal 825,000 people across the UK. Young people are the future of British society and it is incumbent we nurture them and give them the tools/opportunities to reach their full potential.
