Story

السلام عليكم

I would like to start by saying a massive Jazkallah to everyone for helping us reach our second target of £10,000. As we stated previously, we started this with a worry in our hearts for the people of Yemen and had no idea as to what type of targets to set, nor did we comprehend the generosity and kindness of our fellow brothers and sisters.

Through further discussion, we have decided to raise the target to £20,000. Our interpretation of a target leans more towards a benchmark, rather than a stopping point. We strive to continue to make a difference with the hope that with each and every donation, one more man, woman, or child is provided with the humanitarian aid they most desperately need.

May Allah bless you immensely for your donations so far! Please keep sharing the link, so we can continue to make a difference Inshallah!

Our beloved Prophet Muhammed SAW has stated

"The believers shade on the day of resurrection will be his charity"  [Sahih ibn Khuzaymah, 2432]

Yemen is said to be facing the largest humanitarian crisis the word has seen, with more than 24 million people in need of humanitarian assistance (80% of the population), including 12 million children. Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the children of Yemen.

Amongst the ongoing conflict, the people of Yemen are now also at a risk of death due to repeated outbreaks of diseases such as Cholera and COVID-19. In a country where the healthcare system has fallen, the only assistance these families are receiving are through external sources.

Not enough food is getting into the country. The sanitation system has been decimated and hospitals have been destroyed. The country's cholera outbreak has become the worst in history. With famine threatening hundreds of thousands of lives, humanitarian aid is becoming the only lifeline for millions across the country.

3,500,000 people have been displaced since March 2015.

2,500,000 children under 5 require treatment for acute malnutrition.

24,000,000 people need our help.

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT

We have queried about the different charities donating to this cause. However, we set our mind on Al-Imdaad foundation due to their 100% donations policy. Hence, ALL proceeds will be donated to the people of Yemen, with no exception.

The relevant contributions can be Sadaqat / Lillah

The people of Yemen need us more than ever. Please, if you cannot donate, make sincere dua for them. We ask Allah the Lord of the Worlds, the most Powerful, to save the people of Yemen. May Allah forgive us for watching them go through this ordeal and showing no heed to their situation.

As Muslims, we cannot be happy whilst our brothers and sisters living on the face of this earth are in turmoil. We can make a difference IA.

May Allah accept your donations and grant you and your families the highest rank in Jannah. Ameen
