Story
Following on from the National 3 Peaks challenge that I successfully completed last year, me and a similar team are going to attempt the Yorkshire 3. Now this might not sound as spectacular but actually its a further distance and rather than having rests between the climbs, this one is non-stop for 12 hours. However, this silly exercise is once again to raise money to build a school for the Nagajuna School in Nepal.
Three Peaks of Yorkshire, takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough all in 12 hours. The walk is 24.5 miles (39.2km) long and takes in over 7,000 feet (2000 metres) of up!
We have managed to raise almost enough money to buy the very expensive flat land needed. Then we will build the school as we raise more money. So please, if you have anything spare from £1 to £5000 we'd really appreciate it. Every single penny that you give goes directly to the school as we have no advertising or admin fees. Oh - and the school and the land will be held in an official trust in Nepal and therefore not owned by any individual, so you can feel secure that your donation.
And for those of you who remember by spectacular blisters from last year - I've got some new boots !!!
Cheers
