Myself and a group of collegues from the University of Northampton, Estates Services Department are setting sail to raise funds to help fund a new Da Vinci Robotic operating machine for Addenbrookes Hospital. They cost £1.3 million and do a brilliant job.

Our aim is to sail from Southampton across the English Channel to Cherbourg on the northern coast of France. We cast of on Friday 22nd July and return on Sunday 24th July weather permitting. Am I nervous ? Oh yes !
