Zaimah is a pioneering charity based in the UK. It endeavours to tackle poverty and its causes through the principles of equity by developing innovative and sustainable solutions. We aim to enable individuals and their communities to live with dignity by supporting initiatives that promote economic and social justice.

Zaimah works throughout the world’s poorest countries such as Albania, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Brazil, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and others. Zaimah works with anyone in need, regardless of their race, religion, gender, nationality or political opinion.

Zaimah’s programmes include emergency relief, capacity building through water, sanitation and health programmes, education and skills training, micro-financing, income generation and orphan care. As well as giving practical assistance, Zaimah tackles poverty by developing sustainable solutions, advocating for a more just and sustainable future.
