Story

Thank You! For taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The media coverage on Yemen is next to nothing. Unlike othercountries which are affected by war, starvation and illness, the unfortunate circumstance with Yemen is that it is not just happening in a city or two; the whole country is affected.

At least one child dies every 10 minutes in Yemen from preventable diseases. The people of Yemen are having to see their family members die in their arms because they do not even have a pound to their name for food, let alone the expenses to pay for the cure of treatable diseases.

As most are aware, cholera is a disease which is caused by drinking unsanitary water. Unfortunately, it is widespread in Yemen due to the heart-breaking fact that people would do anything to drink even half a glass of brown clouded water. The health system is near collapse. For them, there is no alternative. It is this or death.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
