My Nephew, Daniel Green, has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is due to start Chemotherapy on 7th Sept. Chemotherapy has a lot of unwanted side effects, one of which can be extremely distressing to the patient and family - hair loss. The type of Chemo Daniel will be getting means he will lose his hair, however, in honour of Daniel and to give him as much support as possible, I am hosting a charity night at Bertie's Club on 4th Sept (Whitley Bay) to raise money for this amazing cause. I will also be getting my hair cut and donating this to the Little Princess Trust so it can be used towards making wigs for girls and boys in similar situations. There will be a raffle with prizes to be won along with other people offering to shave their heads. Any donations that can be made will be greatly appreciated - let's show Daniel he has the support he needs and he can get through this, let's beat cancer!!
