I am raising money for my Nan who has suffered from Alzheimers for the last 13 years. She has battled this illness bravely, contracting it at a relatively young age and taking lots of new trial medication in order to help the research that goes on at Brace.
My Nan wouldn't still be here with out the kindness and support that Brace have given her and she cannot praise them highly enough. As her family, I speak on behalf of all of us to thank them for all they have done in making her life more comfortable and bearable.
She has battled for many years now with sheer determination to stay with us and share in all we do. But we can all see now just how tired and ill she really is. It breaks my heart to see her suffering so I am raising money so I can give back for her to this charity that are working so hard to find a cure to this disease. To everyone who has met my Nan she is kind, caring, strong, brave and a true inspiration. She gives so much to others even in these last stages of her illness and we all love her dearly for it, so now this is something for her with all my love.
On Thursday 25th August I will be abseiling down the side of one of my work building (105 feet) so please sponsor me to do this scary stunt!!!
