At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

On Friday 7th August, I will be taking part in Britain's ultimate cycling challenge, The Countrywide Great Tour. As an employee of Countrywide I have been given the opportunity to cycle in one one of the stages and I have volunteered to cycle from Ipswich to Southend on Sea - this is 130km!!

The Countrywide Great Tour starts on Saturday, 4th July and runs for 64 consecutive days through to Saturday, 5th September that's 6,800km!. (It will start and finish at Holyhead Railway station)

A big shout out to James Dowling from Countrywide who is cycling the whole tour, in efforts to raise money for the Tours six charity partners:

CTC the national cycling charity, Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan Cancer Support, Leukaemia & Lymphona Research, Anthony Nolan and Action For A-T.

A big thank you to everyone who has sponsored me, and everyone else taking part in this cycling adventure.
