I will be climbing Scafell Pike in order to raise money for SKT
SKT Welfare’s extensive network of volunteers enables them to be extremely efficient in delivering aid to those who need it most inside Syria. There are many credible charities contributing to aid efforts, but very few have the logistical set-up to get aid into Syria. Those that can, are focused on border areas or major cities such as Aleppo and Homs. Unlike SKT Welfare, few are actually getting aid to many of the devastated village areas, which are, therefore, being neglected. SKT's network (of 50 people inside Syria) is so effective that charities have requested us to partner with them, in delivering aid to Syrians.
Ongoing projects for SKT include the operation of Al-Huda Hospital in Aleppo, Springs of Hope family centre for children and widows, amongst other projects for the Syrian people.
SKT's 100% dontation policy means that every penny you give will be received by those who you donate to - no 'middle-man' or administration costs.
