I'm doing this triathlon in memory of the very beautiful Helen Pote who lost her fight against this awful illness! She was one very special lady whom never gave up hope. She inspired so many people she was amazing!!

This is the biggest challenge I've ever set myself in my life as I'm not very fit, I have a lot of training to get though!! It's definitely going to hurt...it will be the most painful thing I've ever done in my life but not half as painful as what helen went though. As she battled against cancer. As I swim, cycle and run though the pain I'll be thinking of Helen she will be with us on our journey!
