Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In Oct 2010 I will be taking part in my first ever marathon. Its the Loch Ness Marathon and I am absolutely petrified that I'm not going to survive it!
The charity I am running for is the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF - The Soldier's charity). Their aim is to 'support the men and women who put everything on the line to defend us, and our country'.
With this statement in mind it makes my task seem very easy (on paper). However, I do need some motivation, something to encourage me to drag my lazy ass out the door and start some serious training. Any donations made by my friends, family or people who just want to see me suffer will be very much appreciated and will ultimately keep me motivated enough to complete all 26.2 miles and (eventually) cross the finish line.
Any donations provided are always graciously received by the ABF and contribute to the amazing work being done by all involved.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
