Having purchased a thin-wheeled, teeny weeny race bike, a helmet, a jersey, gloves and padded shorts, I have managed to fall off atleast twice, cycled up Widecombe Hill (v steep) down Bathwick Hill (terrifying) and without any peer pressure from Trevor (ahem) I am still committed to cycling from Kernow to Bristle in 3 days. Yes that's about 80 miles a day. Consecutively.
I would be most grateful if you would sponsor me for this amazing event which is truly the most terrifying thing I've ever done.
The Children's Hospice South West is a really great charity and a very worthy cause. They help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and are the only organisation in the South West to provide vital hospice care to these families.
Their services are free to the families who need them because they believe that nothing should get in the way of very sick children receiving the very best care. So, with little government funding, they rely on the generosity of their supporters to deliver their promise to ‘make the most of short and precious lives’. The ride is from 2nd - 4th July 2010.
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
