We help families get time away together - often for the first time ever - for holidays that build happy memories, confidence and hope for the future. The Family Holiday Charity - for holidays that make a lifetime of difference.

Story

Dear friends and family,

At the end of September this year I adopted a new motto - 'in the spirit of doing new things' - due to recent heartbreaking events, it dawned on me that life is too short.

Therefore personal challenge number four (after the flat, new job and studying law) is to (attempt) to run half a marathon.  I can almost hear you gasp at the very thought, especially as I look like Bambi on ice when I run, and what with being several stone overweight......

Now the New Year has started I'll be doing all the hard work (eating salad morning, noon and night.  Getting up at 0600 to go to the gym several times a week.  Drinking my own body weight in water).  Now I'm calling on you to do the easy part - and that is to sponsor me. Its doesn't matter how much you give (as the saying goes) 'every little helps'.

What's the money for I hear you cry.....?  TUI (the company I work for) support families who have / are experiencing unhappy circumstances through the Family Holiday Association.  They provide certain types of families with the opportunity to go on holiday within the UK for 'family time', to strengthen relationships and to give a fresh perspective on life in general.

I would be very grateful if you would support and help me to achieve my personal challenge, meanwhile giving to a worthy cause.

Thank you

xx
