Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 15th June 2013, I will be part of a team from Michael Page that is looking to conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks. If you're not familiar with the challenge, let me explain what I have let myself in for. The Yorkshire Three Peaks  consist of  Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough.  It's a 25 mile hike that takes in 5000 feet of climbing – and all in under 12 hours!!!!

This year I am delighted to announce that I will be supporting our charity partner of the year, Alzheimer's Research UK (ARUK), the
UK’s leading dementia research charity.
As research experts, they fund world-class, pioneering scientists at leading universities to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia. It's estimated that there are 820,000 people in the UK living with dementias including Alzheimer’s. By 2040 it’s expected that over 1.5 million people will be suffering with the disease. Their scientists have been behind some of the biggest breakthroughs in dementia research. Their pioneering work, from vaccines to vitamins, is bringing us closer to a future without dementia.

Thanks in advance for generously supporting our efforts in aid of ARUK and all the people these funds will go on to help. I'm sure you will agree with me that they are a worthy cause.
