As some of you may or may not know i lost my partner Carl Wiggins on 29/04/2007 to CRY Cardic Risk in the Young also known as SAD Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, he was only 22 and i quote 'A Diamond Geezer' So i have decided to challange myself to a Marathon !!! Yes a full 26.2 miles. So far i am up to 16 miles and will be doing 4 Half Marathons to practice for THE BIG 1.

I am running the Windsor 1/2 Marathon on 26/09/2010 with my Dad, he does 1hr 39mins normally but i think that may end my running days, so i am aiming for 2hrs max for my first 1/2 Marathon. WE DID IT IN 1:59 :0)

I am also running the Silverstone 1/2 Marathon on 6/03/2011 and will be aiming to do this in 1hr 55mins, my Dad is coming down from Leeds to run this with me. WE DID IT IN 1:56:50 :0)

Then i will be running Leeds 1/2 Marathon on 8/05/2011 with my Dad again, 1hr 53 mins would be nice. WE DID IT 1:51:13 well pleased :0)

Also just added some more runs to me calander:

5/6 Wallingford 10k with my Dad & Boyfriend. Did a 49:44 :-)

17/7 Wycombe 1/2 Marathon on my own. Did it in 1:51:41 was very hilly.

18/9 Medmenham 10k again on my own.

I have cancelled the Marathon that i was running on my 31st Birthday 03/04/2011 due to bad weather over winter and not been able to get the training in. Instead i have got my place in The Abingdon Marathon on 16/10/2011, Abingdon is local to were i live so friends and family can come and cheer me on as im sure i will need it. 

Please help me raise money for a good cause :O)
