Home safe & sound after the most amazing time in India. Lots of photos to follow but our mission to cycle the Kerala hills was a huge success. Our visit to the Heal Children's Village, the Kanuru school in Vijayawada and the slums of Guntur brought us back to the stark reality of how very important the work of Heal is. Thank you all so much for your sponsorships, every penny makes a vast difference.

ALERT! We have a horrible feeling that we are entering a mid-life crisis!</p> <p>Somehow this crisis has evolved into a massive cycle ride through India so we need your support please (well actually maybe some money too)...</p> <p>Amanda is taking up a new challenge working for a small charity called HEAL. She will be working to help build a village and run a school for 1000 orphaned and destitute children.</p> <p>Zoe then became very excited about the whole thing and wanted to get in on the action and over a glass or two of wine, a plan was hatched...lets cycle through India...well part of it anyway.</p> <p>So here we are, we've got a 200 mile ride ahead of us in January 2012 and neither of us have cycled for 20 years. We now need your support</p> <p>We fly to Kerala in January to begin the trip and we want to raise as much money as possible for this fabulous cause. The great thing is that all the money raised goes directly to the children and Amanda will be there to help oversee how it is spent.</p> <p>HEAL provides homes, food, education and medical care for orphaned and underprivileged children in Andhra Pradesh, India.
