On Saturday 23rd June around 3.30 I, and anyone else who wants to join me, will be swimming from the Wyre to the Rousay Pier to raise money towards building our very own community swimming pool on Rousay. It's a distance of 3/4 mile across open water with quite a strong current and should be a great challenge. It's not as noble a cause as some but it is close to my heart and would bring a real boost to our small island and the people who live on it. Please donate generously. Thank you.
