Story
I am raising money for 4 'Food and Household packs' for 4 Syrian families which each cost £100.
The children of Syria are growing up surrounded by destruction, disease and death. More than 80 percent of Syria's children have been injured, and around 3.7 million children have been born in the past five years amidst the ongoing conflict, meaning they have never known peace.
Knowing that our Ummah are being tortured before our own eyes is very devastating. As Muslims and stewards of this world, it is important to make use of the power that Allah has provided us with.
Our Prophet Muhammad (sws) said:
"Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity."
"Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity."
Therefore, charity is an important aspect of life and Allah will reward our efforts for helping those in need.
