Friday - they've made it to Lille.  Did get lost after a drink on the way back to the hotel - doesn't bode well for map reading!  Challenges start roday.

They're on their way!!!  8 cars left mayfield High Street in convy at 12.30 today headed for Dover.  Hopefully they are now somewhere in France after a choppy sailing.

 

 

ONE WEEK TO GO....

The stickers are on...the costumes are almost ready...the boys are nearly sorted and the route is almost planned.  All we need now are some more generous sponsors!

This year A & J Executive have decided to do something a bit different.  Alistair is participating in the July Wacky Rally Barmy to Barcelona.  It's a 4 day race through 5 countries in a car worth no more than £250!

We won't be using our Mercedes S Class Brabus; there is no way we will convince anyone that it’s only worth £250.  So we have a bright yellow Escort cabriolet!  As you can see the team name is the Texas Tarts.  Not only will the car have eyelashes and lip stick (and probably various pink accessories) but the team will be dressing up too, complete with appropriate padding and make up.

Jacqueline’s Dad was diagnosed with cancer on New Year’s Eve so we are doing the Wacky Rally for MacMillan (as well as her doing the Race for Life for Cancer Research).  The MacMillan nurses have been absolutely brilliant with their support and help.

After the fantastic support Jacqueline received for the Race for Life we are looking for both corporate and personal sponsorship.  Even a small personal donation will help but if you would like to make a corporate donation and have your name or logo on the car (please provide these) we will be happy to accommodate this.  The car is bright yellow so all the stickers will show up well!
