Hello!
My name is Abbi Morrall and I am the founder of Abs-Kids Anti Bullying charity and website. A few months ago www.abs-kids.co.uk became a Registered Charity, and after 3 years of hard work and determination I was delighted! Our next step was to hold some fundraising events ... so we came up with jumping out of a plane!
I kindly asked my mate Sam Dimmer, (www.justgiving.com/samdimmer) if he would be up for jumping and needless to say he said yes. His response was almost immediate and so I figured that he hadn't quite taken in what I had asked him but I have held him to it. He has told me that he has a fear of heights so I have a feeling that we may be giving him a helping hand to jump, or more of a push!
There are 6 of us jumping altogether and everyone is trying really hard to get as many sponsors as possible. To begin with there were 10 of us jumping but unfortunately due to injuries and other commitments people have had to drop out. Now it is down to the almighty 6 that are left to get as much funding as possible. The minimum is £500 and so the pressure is on!
