WELL DONE to all the walkers - we all did it and we did it with style!
A MASSIVE thank you to all our sponsors - you were amazingly generous and we have exceeded what we ever hoped we might. But if you have come on this page to sponsor us - please still do so - there will never be enough. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

On Friday 25th March, the above staff from St. George's School will be walking 19.28km for the Army Benevolent Fund.
Why 19.28km? A colleague said that he would run 10 metres for each of the UK service personnel who have been killed or wounded in Afghanistan.
This is an inspirational feat but a more realistic one was by walking it (although it has been rumoured that this is the average distance covered on a day out shopping!). We feel it is a fitting way of raising awareness of the sacrifice of our armed forces, and raising money for those servicemen and families who now need help.
The Army Benevolent Fund, the Soldiers' Charity, has for many years been supporting the wounded and bereaved, most recently through its "Big Curry Days". Since 2009 it has been a major focus for our fund raising efforts, and St George's has raised more funds for the ABF than any other school in the UK.
Your donation would help!
Thank you
