I hope you’ll sponsor me on what is for me a massive challenge. You’ll have spotted that I’m not exactly ‘aerodynamic’ and have been training for some time to run this distance.

The reason I’m so determined to do it is because Greyhound Gap is a fantastic organisation, run by volunteers, who rescue these gentle, patient, sweet-natured dogs from some truly gruesome situations, putting them into loving homes (sometimes mine!). Also, do please take pity on me. In preparing for this challenge I have endured hardships, such as getting soaked, having dog poo stuck in my trainers, trying not to be sick in the woods, and being abused by pervy motorists. Albeit the increased exercise does allow me to eat more M&S raspberry swiss roll than usual; which is some consolation :)
