A friend's mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  I knew this person well and it came as a big shock to me.  Fortunately, it was caught early and she immediately started treatment and overcame the cancer.

I'm doing this walk for her and to help raise money for the millions of other people throughout the world who have been diagnosed with cancer.
