Story

Hi, and thanks so much for visiting this page.

over the last 85 years, thousands of brave men and women have put their lives on the line in conflicts all over the world. As if that wasn't bad enough - many of them have been blinded because of this - and as a result sometimes feel isolated, lose their independence and will need extra assistance. That's where St Dunstans comes in. My job, is just to throw myself off a high building in the form of an abseil from the marquess of anglesey Tower in Anglesey on the 26th of June.

Many of you visiting this will know I'm an adventurous little soul, having done things from scubadiving to a 173 mile walk to raise money for Deafblind UK and guide dogs respectively. But, this is the ost daring event so far - and I'm absolutely terrified! For those of you who don't know, I'm also totally blind - so trusting my instructor is going to test us both! Admittedly we weren't in the throws of a recession when I last asked for help with fundraising, - so I thoroughly appreciate anything you can give this fantastic cause - as a well-known supermarket says, every little helps.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you
