The Accenture Asia Pacific Commuity Network  (APCN) will be taking part in annual charity dragon boat race in support of the Mother'sBridge ofLove - MBL (charity no. 1105543) and the Chinese Mental Health Association - CMHA, (charity no. 1058934).

Both do great work.

Particularly after the earthquake in the Sichuan province on 12 May 2008, a lot of children need our help, in rebuilding their homes and rebuilding their lives. Funds raised for MBL will be used to help those children, by supporting , school rebuiding projects, and medical and social care projects for children and more particularly because of the current situation, disaster relief projects.

Our second charity is CMHA. Mental health issues are a stigma in any society and none more so than in traditional Chinese society, and CMHA helps to provide specialised mental health assistance and support.

The team have been training hard for the race, and with fitness levels not exactly high, its been painful to say the least!

The race is Sunday 8th June so this is an URGENT appeal for you to be fast and generous!
