Dear Team,

On Sunday 27^th April, the three Accenture Munich-based Supply Chain Partners (Mark Pearson, Olaf Kreichgauer and Thomas Schramm) are participating in a charity event – supporting the World Wildlife Fund - cycling around the Starnberger See.  This is part of a much bigger charity event, being organized byMunichInternationalSchool.  In order to spice things up a bit, to encourage some healthy competition, and to encourage sponsorship of our event, we have decided to turn it into a bit of a challenge:

Here’s the deal

1. Olaf, Mark and Thomas will each cycle at breakneck speed (independently) around Starnberger See (52km, reasonably flat), on Sunday 27^th April.
2. We ask for ‘sponsorship’, and for each sponsorship (you to decide how much you wish to sponsor us by – recommended starting point €20!), you must nominate the person that you think is going to get the fastest time, and you must guess a time (nearest second).  One entry per person only.
3. The person sponsoring that gets the nearest time (with, of course, the correct winner) will win a case of champagne – provided by your Munich SEs
4. We are going to try to raise €4,000 through this action, so your generous help would be gratefully appreciated.
5. We (Thomas, Mark and Olaf) promise that we will not kill each other!!

You can either make a contribution through the website that we have set up at www.justgiving.com, or you can send your sponsorship directly to Katja Haimerl (Katja.Haimerl@accenture.com) in Munich, where she will acknowledge receipt, and collect all the cash.

Importantly, when you make your contribution (by whatever means), please email or call Katja, and record your ‘winner’ and time, so that we have all these in before the 27^th April.  Alternatively, if you are contributing via this site, you can record your 'wiinner and time' directly here in the comments section
