Good corporate citizenship is inseparable from good business and  is an ethos that should pervade everything that we do as business leaders and  personal individuals. As a father of 4 children, providing, support, care, guidance is part of my everyday routine…NCH provide all of this and more, this why Byte Night is important, supporting young people who are homeless or copying with life after foster or residential care is so important.

On the 22nd September, Jeremy Davis, Martin Lawrence, Paul Farrelly, Sunil Prashara and myself will be sleeping 'rough' in Victoria Tower Gardens to help raise funds to support young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Did you know that:

·         1 in 7 young runaways are physically or sexually assaulted while away from home - this rises to almost 1 in 2 after a week away (Children's Society Survey 1999)

·      100,000 children under 16 run away each year (The Children's Society 2003)

·      More than 60% of young people leaving care do so with no qualifications (NCH Factfile)

·      One-third of all young homeless people attempt suicide (NCH Factfile)
